St John’s Innovation Centre seeks to support businesses through in-house business advisers and a number of different programmes including GrowthAccelerator. These are all focused on the needs of potential high growth companies.
Our 25 year heritage as one of Europe’s premier Innovation Centres, focusing on supporting knowledge-based and high growth businesses gives us a strong base from which to provide businesses the best strategic and management advice, Leadership and Management training and introductions through our network, thereby increasing the chances of business success.
Experienced business advisers are on-site to support clients with a wide range of business issues, with specialist expertise in finance and marketing. Regular business development and training sessions and workshops are held in our conference and meeting rooms to support the development of the high-growth companies who are tenants at the Innovation Centre.
Business Support is offered to tenants through our in-house team of advisers: – David Gill, Kirsten Masson, Penny Lord and Claire Johnsen who serve as mentors, co-ordinators and colleagues of all the incubator tenants.
The tenant mix changes as companies move on, but the majority of businesses based at St John’s Innovation centre are involved in:
•Research and Development
•Design of new products and services
•Testing and analysis
The SJIC blog is written by the team at St Johns Innovation Centre, including contributions from the wider team of advisors and entrepreneurs.
