Having a great relationship with and supporting the Centres of Excellence in the region is something that Nicky Daniels, Head of Innovation Martlesham, Ipswich, and David Gill, Managing Director of St John’s Innovation Centre in Cambridge are both passionate about. Sharing ideas, best practices and looking at ways of driving collaborative opportunities formed the basis of an excellent discussion that was held over coffee when Nicky was hosted by David at St John’s Innovation Centre this week.
Following on from this year’s VentureFest East in May, when over 600 entrepreneurs and investors gathered together for a day of focused activity, Nicky and David want to build upon the success of the event, continuing to contribute to the East of England’s reputation as the place to scale up and invest in businesses. “Mindful of the fantastically innovative products and services emerging in our clusters, we can further extend the opportunities for collaboration by sharing business success and growth initiatives”, said Nicky.
David says, “St John’s innovation Centre focuses on innovative, high-growth start-ups which we support through bespoke services such as the Enterprise Europe Network. We are delighted to work closely with Innovation Martlesham to consolidate the East of England as the driving force in technology entrepreneurship in the UK.”
