St John’s Innovation Centre is teaming up with Skylark Learning, a developer of innovative multisensory educational products for young children, to run a Duck Race in aid BBC Children in Need.
“As an Early Years education company we are always keen to support Children In Need,” said David Keane, Head of Marketing at Skylark Learning. “Last year we raised over £90. This year we are delighted to support and be a part St John’s and their Duck Race!”
The Duck Race will take place on Friday, 16th November at 14:30 on the pond by The Square café.
To make this charity event special, two members of the St John’s Innovation team will get on paddle boards and push ducks along to the finish line.
Do your thing
To get involved in the Duck Race, you can purchase your own duck by making a £2 donation towards the charity. Ducks will be available from Wednesday at the Reception and at The Square. The owner of the winning duck will receive a £25 gift voucher for The Square café.
St John’s innovation team will also run a bake sale on the day and any cake donations will be much appreciated!
We look forward to seeing you!
