Innovate UK are excited to collaborate with Arise Innovation Hubs and Medilink Midlands for a series of events this autumn and winter 2025/2026. The next event focuses on a key theme from the NHS’s 10-year plan: making the NHS fit for the future.

As we move from research to reality, how can we enable more care within the community, keeping hospitals ready for when they’re truly needed? A recent Wellcome Trust paper highlights the need to put research at the heart of health and improve outcomes for all.

Join us as we explore barriers and opportunities for community-based healthcare innovation, addressing questions such as:

· How do we turn patchy patient engagement into a proactive, connected network?

· How can research be embedded into everyday care with trustworthy data and incentives?

· How do we ensure innovations are adopted and scaled widely?
