St John's Innovation Centre tenant Green Custard received some very exciting news this week - they've reached the final of the SME Cambridge Business Awards and are up for Business of the Year 2019!
Now in their third year, the SME Cambridgeshire Business Awards are designed to raise the profile of industrious, hardworking and enterprising SMEs. The Business of the Year award, in particular, is for those showing outstanding initiative, boldness and imagination in the enterprise, as well as sound management practices. Finalists needed to demonstrate sustainable growth combined with a degree of commercial success that is exceptional for the size of the business.
The Green Custard team are delighted to be recognised in this way for their work driving innovation across Cambridgeshire alongside local startups, and their partnerships with complementary organisations to deliver bold new solutions.
“We’ve experienced impressive growth and welcomed multiple new team members over the past year and this recognition really tops it off and has us focused firmly on our bright future.” - James Green, Director at Green Custard
The final will take place at the Imperial War Museum on 4 July 2019 and the Green Custard team will be live tweeting directly from the venue so be sure to follow @gcsoftware for all the updates as they happen. Fingers crossed for the gong!
