We’re delighted to introduce PECK to the Centre, the UK's first and only protein drink to use real egg and ingredients, developed by the Pitchfest finalist, Matt Havers.
Matt Havers, a Suffolk free range egg farmer, is one of the successful finalists of the Pitchfest series delivered by Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) in partnership with the Knowledge Transfer Network and held at St Johns Innovation Centre. Matt has also worked closely with the EEN Innovation Advisers based at the Centre on the Innovate2Succeed programme.
“It’s really great to see PECK being stocked at St John’s. We came here at a very early stage as part of Pitchfest looking for investment, and as part of that we met Claire Johnsen who was a massive asset for helping us get to where we are today,” said Matt. “To have St John’s Innovation Centre as one of our first local stockists is really important to us.”
PECK’s innovative egg protein drinks not only tap into the fast-growing sports nutrition and protein products market but also tackle food waste by using unwanted eggs.
“Lovely to see a technical innovation creating a wholesome drink,” commented Claire Johnsen, the Enterprise Europe Network Innovation Adviser at the Centre. “Their ambient storage technique is cutting-edge and truly helps them set their product apart from other protein offerings.”
Three PECK flavours are now available at The Bistro: Strawberry & Lime, Mango & Passionfruit and Raspberry & Blueberry. Give them a try and let us know what you think!
