St John’s Innovation Centre is delighted to invite all tenants to the annual Christmas Charity Mingle on Wednesday, 20th December 2017 at 15:00 in The Atrium.

This year, the centre's popular festive meet-up and the Christmas raffle are organised in aid of a local charity, Jimmy’s Shelter, providing accommodation for the homeless and vulnerably housed in Cambridge.

Jimmy’s Shelter opened its door in 1995 becoming Cambridge’s first all-year-round night shelter. The charity was named in Jim Dilley’s memory – a known rough sleeper in the region who spent many of his nights under the bridge at junction 13 on the M11. Being hard of hearing meant he managed to get some sleep despite the noise. Joan and Richard, Jimmy’s founders, knew him well and made it their mission to prevent others from suffering a similar plight.

All tenants are invited to join us for mince pies, mulled wine and the Christmas raffle. Let’s support this great cause together!

Raffle tickets are now available at the reception and The Bistro during Christmas Lunches.

How will the donations help?
