What a fantastic evening for the re-launch of Women4Technology at The Old Divinity School, St John’s College!

We were honoured to begin with an inspiring introduction from Heather Hancock, Master of St John’s College, who spoke about the College’s links to St John’s Innovation Centre. It set the perfect tone for what followed.

Ann Fisher then shared words straight from the heart about what she began all those years ago with Women4Technology. Many of those early supporters were in the room. Ann is admired not only for her incredible achievements, but for the generous, thoughtful leader she is today — and as a valued board member of SJIC. As she passes the W4T baton to the SJIC team, she knows W4T will be nurtured for the next chapter. Ann also thanked Helen Poole, who could not attend but has been critical to both the original W4T and its re-launch, as well as Kirsten Masson, Florence Milner, and Sue Rollings from SJIC.

The fireside chat was expertly chaired by Victor Christou, Chair of SJIC, with Amelia Armour, Partner at female-founded Amadeus Capital Partners. Amelia spoke candidly about how women need to speak up and support other women when they’re in the room and highlighted the importance of having a diverse pool of mentors in helping women progress. Mentorship, alongside training, will be core features of the new W4T programme, and the room was buzzing with enthusiasm.

It was fantastic to see so many key players from our community come together. The London launch of W4T will take place in late January, alongside an exciting programme for 2026.

Warm thanks to our sponsors Mills & Reeve and FieldHouse Associates, and to everyone who attended. We have received so much positive feedback!

It is an exciting time for St John’s Innovation Centre and we’re really proud to be supporting this!
