This April, St John’s Innovation Centre is hosting three opportunities for members to connect, explore new ideas, and spend time together as a community.
From meeting the Careers Team at Cambridge Judge Business School, to welcoming a delegation from the Swiss innovation ecosystem in partnership with Innovaud, and finishing the month with a relaxed board games social, there is plenty happening across the Centre.
Cambridge Judge Business School Careers Team visit on 21 April
We are pleased to welcome the Careers Team from Cambridge Judge Business School to St John’s Innovation Centre on 21 April.
Members are invited to drop in for a coffee and an informal chat to explore how working with MBA, Master of Finance, and Executive Masters students and alumni could support their organisation. These individuals bring international perspective, entrepreneurial thinking, and creative problem solving across a wide range of sectors.
Whether you are looking for project support, fresh thinking, or potential future hires, this is an opportunity to have an open conversation about how the students can work with you. Members can also book a longer 1 – 1 discussion at a convenient time, please email careers@jbs.cam.ac.uk for more information.
Innovation and Investment Corridor with Innovaud on 28 and 29 April
On 28 and 29 April, in partnership with Innovaud, we will host a delegation from the Lausanne innovation ecosystem.
This event is aimed at UK high growth companies working in digital security, net zero, big data, life sciences, and space technology. Members will have the opportunity to meet key stakeholders, understand the support available in Switzerland, and explore routes into the Swiss market.
Switzerland offers political and economic stability, competitive corporate tax rates, access to highly skilled talent, modern infrastructure, and an exceptional quality of life. For companies considering international growth, this is a valuable chance to begin conversations and build connections.
Members interested in arranging a one to one meeting can contact Stephen Goddard at sgoddard@stjohns.co.uk.
