Cambridge, UK – St John’s Innovation Centre (SJIC) and Taiwan-based Industrial Technology Investment Corporation (ITIC) have signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to establish a strategic partnership aimed at accelerating startup growth and strengthening innovation links between Cambridge and Taiwan.
The collaboration will create opportunities for startups, investors and technology organisations across both ecosystems, with a focus on sectors including artificial intelligence, semiconductors, cybersecurity, biotechnology, quantum computing, green energy and other deep technology fields.
Under the agreement, ITIC will introduce promising Taiwanese startups to SJIC’s innovation and business support network, while SJIC will connect high-potential Cambridge, UK and European companies with ITIC’s investment and industry ecosystem in Taiwan. The partnership will also explore startup exchange programmes, joint initiatives and investment opportunities.
