Rich Woods will be visiting the Innovation Centre to provide a free workshop on legal issues relevant to start-up and scale-up businesses.
Rich is a Director at KPMG Law, and specialises in fundraising rounds for high-growth businesses. He has previously worked in Goldman Sachs’ venture capital team, and as General Counsel of LendInvest, a London fintech which recently listed.
Examples of areas which you could discuss include:
- preparing for a funding round
- investor economics: liquidation preferences, exit terms, preference shares, convertible loans
- investor rights: anti-dilution, veto rights, board positions, information rights
- equity incentive for your team
