Emilia Caporale is an Innovation & Growth Specialist at St John’s Innovation Centre, where she helps innovative and ambitious SMEs create the conditions to scale and succeed across the UK and internationally.

Before joining St John’s, Emilia worked closely with startup founders as a Strategic Finance Advisor, helping them translate early vision into structured, investable business strategies. She focused on aligning financial plans with growth ambitions, strengthening investor narratives, and laying the foundations for scalable operations.

Emilia brings a wealth of experience from her 25-year career at Accenture, where she held senior finance leadership roles, including Global Director of Forecasting and Planning, Finance Director for the Europe Strategy Division, and Finance Director for Financial Services UK & Ireland. She was instrumental in driving global transformation initiatives, embedding AI and analytics into forecasting processes, and partnering with leadership teams to shape data-informed, strategic decisions across complex organisational landscapes.

Her unique ability to bridge the worlds of corporate finance and entrepreneurial innovation allows her to unlock value at every growth stage.

Emilia holds a combined Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, and Business Administration from the University of Naples Federico II in Italy.
