We are delighted to announce Dr Kam Pooni, CEO of Glyconics, Entrepreneur and Mentor as our guest speaker for SJIC Sundowners VOL.3 taking place on Thursday, 14th March 2019 at The Square café, St John’s Innovation Centre.

This is the third event in a series of relaxed, late afternoon meet-ups with entrepreneurs, founders, investors and inspiring people, designed to exchange know-how, take risks and drive change.

Dr Kam Pooni will talk about “Resilience & the Entrepreneur: Why saying NO can be the key to success in your startup journey!” and share his entrepreneurial journey.

“The journey of an entrepreneur is filled with excitement and woes. Resilience is the ability to thrive, personally and professionally, even during times of high pressure and adversity. Well as entrepreneurs we choose to live in this state constantly," said Dr Kam Pooni. “How do we survive this journey to be successful? For me, it’s about being becoming self-aware about our own resilience and then applying that skill to say No. Saying No as an entrepreneur can be difficult but if it takes us towards our goals then should we say it more often?"
