David has since 2008 been Managing Director of the St John’s Innovation Centre, a 6,000m2 incubator founded in 1987 by St John’s College, Cambridge. He previously ran the Innovation & Technology Unit at HSBC Bank in London (1997-2004). Educated at Cambridge, he was called to the Bar by the Middle Temple before working in corporate finance for US and UK banks.

Tom has an extensive knowledge and interest in the growth and development strategies of businesses within the scientific R&D industry following a strong background in life sciences and business. Tom works with a diverse range of companies, offering guidance on how to overcome their barriers for growth and especially supporting them to prepare for raising funding.
